Fairfield had its “Terrible Taste Test” event today!
We had a brave group of teens who dared to sample every extreme dish — stuff like dried squid, fried crickets and “1,000 year old eggs” (actually, they are more like only 100 days old).
I got dared to eat a whole egg by everyone there — I got most of it down in one bite, but almost — ALMOST — barfed all over everything. What I won’t do for the library!
Congratulations to everybody who participated! This is a great start to a fun summer at the Lane Libraries!
